The Yamaha NMAX 155 is the scooter to rent when Kuta is only your base and the rest of Lombok is the plan. Big wheels, a long wheelbase and a wide, well padded seat make the difference on the two-hour rides north to Senggigi, Bangsal or the Rinjani foothills.
It is still fully automatic, so it is no harder to ride than a 110cc scooter – it simply carries two people and their luggage without ever running out of breath, and it holds a stable line on the fast sections of the Praya bypass where smaller scooters get nervous.
The NMAX rents for IDR 150.000 per day and IDR 1.000.000 per week from our shop in central Kuta Lombok, with a free helmet, an optional surf rack and free delivery in the Kuta area.

If you stay inside Kuta and only ride to the beaches, a 110cc or 125cc scooter is enough. The NMAX pays off as soon as you ride long distances – Senggigi, Bangsal for the Gili Islands, Tetebatu or the Rinjani foothills – because the big wheels and long seat keep you comfortable for hours.
Yes. The ride from Kuta Lombok to Bangsal harbour takes around two and a half hours and the NMAX is the most comfortable scooter in our fleet for it. There is guarded parking at the harbour, so you can leave the scooter while you visit the Gilis.
It is automatic like every other scooter in our fleet, so the controls are identical. It is heavier and taller, so if you have never ridden before we suggest starting on a Vario 110 or Scoopy for the first days in Kuta and switching later.
Yes, the NMAX has the largest under-seat compartment of all our scooters and swallows a full-face helmet plus a rain jacket.
